Low Alloy Steel Welding Electrode
J506NiMA、J507NiMA
GB/T E5016-G E5015-G
AWS E7018-G E7015-G
Description: J506NiMA and J507NiMA are moisture-absorbing ultra-low hydrogen-coated low-alloy steel electrodes. The deposited metal has excellent plasticity, low-temperature toughness and crack resistance, and can be welded in all positions. The coating is resistant to moisture absorption. After the electrode is baked at 400°C x 1h and parked in an environment with a relative humidity ≥ 80% for 4 hours, the moisture content of the coating still meets the requirements for use.
Application: It is used for the welding of oil platforms, ships, pressure vessels, and other structures made of carbon steel and low alloy steel.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at 350 ~ 400℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding;
3. Use short arc operation when welding. The narrow welding track is proper.
