Low Alloy Steel Welding Electrode
J606
GB/T E6016-D1
AWS E9016-D1
Description: J606 is a low-alloy high-strength steel electrode with a low-hydrogen potassium coating. It can be used for all-position welding with AC and DC. The performance stability of AC welding is inferior to that of DC welding.
Application: Used for welding medium carbon steel and low-alloy high-strength steel structures of corresponding strength, such as Q420, etc.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at 350℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding;
3. Use short arc operation when welding. The narrow welding track is proper;
4. When the weld part is thick, it should be preheated to above 150°C and cooled slowly after welding.
