Low Alloy Steel Welding Electrode
J557SLA、 J557SLB
GB/T E5515-G
AWS E8015-G
Description: This is a low hydrogen sodium covered special electrode for aluminized steel. Use DCEP (direct current electrode positive), and can be welded in all positions with short arc operation. J557SLA can be directly welded without removing the aluminized layer on the groove surface before welding. But the J557SLB should remove the aluminized layer on the groove surface before welding.
Application: It is used for welding the aluminized steel structure under the corrosion medium of hydrogen sulfide, sulfur, ammonia, ammonium bicarbonate and hydrogen nitrogen with working temperature below 540°C. Such as boiler pipes, petroleum refining equipment, fertilizer equipment and steam pipes, etc.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 350℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding.
