Copper and Copper Alloy Welding Electrode
T207
GB/T ECuSi-B
AWS A5.6 ECuSi
Description: T207 is a copper alloy electrode with silicon bronze core and low hydrogen sodium coating. Use DCEP (direct current electrode positive) with great mechanical properties. It has good corrosion resistance to inorganic acids other than nitric acid, most organic acids and seawater.
Application: It is suitable for welding of copper, silicon bronze and brass, surfacing welding of linings of chemical machinery pipelines, etc.

Notice:
Precautions:
1. The electrode must be baked at about 300°C for 1 to 2 hours before welding;
2. Moisture, oil, oxides and other impurities on the surface of the weldment must be removed before welding.
3. When welding silicon bronze or surfacing welding on steel, no preheating is required. The preheating temperature for welding pure copper is about 450°C, and the preheating temperature for welding brass is about 300°C;
4. Short-arc welding should be used during welding. During multi-layer welding, the slag between layers must be
completely removed; after welding, hammer the weld with a flat head hammer to refine the grains, eliminate stress, and improve the strength and plasticity of the weld.
