Molybdenum and Chromium Molybdenum Heat Resistant Steel Welding Electrode
R306Fe
GB/T E5518-B2
AWS A5.5 E8018-B2
Description: R306Fe is a pearlitic heat-resistant steel electrode with iron powder and low hydrogen potassium type coating containing 1% Cr – 0.5% Mo. Both AC and DC can be used, and can be welded in all positions with short arc operation. The preheating of the weldment and the interlayer temperature are 160 ~ 250 °C during welding.
Application: Used for welding of 1%Cr – 0.5%Mo pearlitic heat-resistant steel (such as 15CrMo), such as boiler heating surface pipes with working temperature below 550°C, steam pipes and pressure vessels with working temperature below 520°C, etc. It can be used for welding of 30CrMnSi steel castings.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 350℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding.
