Molybdenum and Chromium Molybdenum Heat Resistant Steel Welding Electrode
R306
GB/T E5516-B2
AWS A5.5 E8016-B2
Description: R306 is a pearlitic heat-resistant steel electrode with a low-hydrogen potassium coating containing 1% Cr – 0.5% Mo. Both AC and DC can be used, and can be welded in all positions. The weldment must be preheated to 160 ~ 250°C before welding.
Application: Used for welding Cr 1% – Mo 0.5% heat-resistant steel whose working temperature is below 520℃, such as boiler pipes, pressure vessels, vaporizers and petroleum refining equipment, etc.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 350℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding.
