Low Alloy Steel Welding Electrode
J557
GB/T E5515-G
AWS E8015-G
Description: J557 is a low alloy steel electrode with low hydrogen sodium coating. Use DCEP (direct current electrode positive), and can be welded in all positions.
Application: Used for welding medium carbon steel and low alloy steel structures such as Q390.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 350℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding;
3. Use short arc operation when welding. The narrow welding track is proper.
