Molybdenum and Chromium Molybdenum Heat Resistant Steel Welding Electrode
R106
GB/T E5016-A1
AWS A5.5 E7016-A1
Description: R106 is a pearlitic heat-resistant steel electrode with a low-hydrogen potassium coating containing 0.5% Mo. It can be used for all-position welding with AC and DC. The weldment must be preheated to 90 ~ 110 ℃ before welding.
Application: It is used for welding boiler pipes with working temperature below 510°C, such as 15Mo, AST-MA204 and A335-P1 pipes, etc. It can also be used for welding general low-alloy high-strength steels.

Notice:
1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at 150 ~ 200℃ before welding operation;
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts before welding.
